More bad news from the Merry world of the Pranksters. On June 23, 2003, Paul Foster suffered a massive, fatal heart attack while sitting in a chair reading Shakespeare outside of the tent that he called his home in a trailer park in Northern California. I hope he, and the family that he leaves behind, find some peace as he moves on to whatever is next. Paul Foster, 2002 I met Paul last summer, spending an awkward hour with him in a restaurant close to where he lived. He was welcoming, but seemed distracted during much of our conversation. He also seemed tired to the depth of his soul. Peter McKenna, a friend and relative of Paul's kindly sent me this story about an adventure with Paul, and with Peter's permission, I thought I would share it with everybody out there.
